BuddyCamp Recap

On August 8th 2015, the first European BuddyPress conference was held in Brighton, UK. BuddyCamp had 13 sponsors, 8 sessions, 7 volunteers, 6 speakers (plus another 4 via video message), and 33 wonderful attendees — a 100% turnout!

The organisers sincerely thank everyone for attending and for contributing to the success of the event. We have wonderful memories, and hope you do, too. 💖 πŸ™‚

Thanks again to our sponsors: Bluehost, BuddyBoss, BuddyForms, Connected, DataFlexor, GoDaddy, Human Made, Jetpack, Make Do, PlanetHoster, WebDevStudios, WooCommerce, and WPML.

Without the support of our sponsors, we would not have been able to run BuddyCamp, so we owe them a lot. For those sponsors who sent representatives to the event, it was great to meet you in person. We hope you found sponsoring BuddyCamp was worthwhile. πŸ™‚

The organisers would also like to extend a special thanks to Alex and Maddie at the Earth & Stars pub (where we held our speaker/sponsor dinner), and Tessa at Clearleft for 68 Middle Street (the conference venue). These people were fabulous to work with, and helped make a lot of things “just work”. 😍 😍

Last but not least, we’d like to thank everyone who attended. You were the reason we decided to run the conference, and for us, it was great to spend a day sharing something we love with so many people.

Until next time… πŸ˜‰
