Rocío Valdivia

Rocío Valdivia is a Spanish Computer Engineer in love with Open Source, technology, travelling and personal challenges. She enjoys working every day for MailPoet. Rocío has experience as a WordPress & BuddyPress consultant and specialist developer since 2008.

Part of the Spanish translation team at GlotPress, and Spanish WordPress and BuddyPress forums administrator. Co-organiser of WordCamp Sevilla and WordCamp Europe 2015, and co-author of “WordPress para Dummies” (2012). Lecturer at conferences and seminars.

Mathieu Viet

Mathieu “imath” Viet is a BuddyPress core developer and a WordPress / BuddyPress / bbPress plugin author.

With two of his friends, he also produces a monthly podcast over at Very French Trip and is one of the founding members of the “WP Paris” association, a non-profit organisation to federate WordPress enthusiasts living in & around the city of Paris.

Call for Speakers

BuddyCamp Brighton is looking for speakers to educate, inspire, and engage the BuddyPress community. We’re looking for people who are excited about BuddyPress and who would like to teach new things to our community.

Maybe you are a member or owner of a BuddyPress site. Perhaps you manage or run a site, or have built BuddyPress sites for clients. You could be a BuddyPress plugin or theme developer, even a contributor to the project. Whoever you are and whatever your relationship is to BuddyPress, you will have a great story to tell others. If that’s you, then we would love to have you speak at BuddyCamp Brighton.

Deadline for speaker applications is 8th July 2015 — don’t wait until it’s too late!
