Second Group of Speaker Announcements

In the second wave of confirmed speakers, we’re extremely thrilled to welcome Sven, Tammie, and Michael to BuddyCamp Brighton 2015! All three have been involved in BuddyPress since the early days of the project, and their expertise, passion, and knowledge are unparalleled. It’s going to be a real treat to learn from them at BuddyCamp!

See the schedule and buy your ticket today!

Sven Lehnert

Sven Lehnert is the CEO of ThemeKraft and BuddyForms, and likes building stuff around WordPress, BuddyPress and WooCommerce.

Sven started in 2007 with the idea to create a local community for subculture. At this time, BuddyPress popped up and inspired him. Step by step, he saw himself developing themes and plugins. Things continued and he decided to concentrate 100% on developing themes and plugins with a deep focus on BuddyPress.

Tammie Lister

Tammie Lister is a theme wrangler at Automattic. She’s lucky enough to spend her days in the world of themes. This means, she gets to not only work on WordPress.com with themes, but also as part of the theme review team for WordPress.org. Before Automattic she focused on creating BuddyPress themes and wrote a book on BuddyPress theme development. When not themeing, she likes to spend time with her husband and two dogs around the beach they live by. She likes to balance the time spent online with offline crafts, yoga and photography.

Michael Eisenwasser

Michael Eisenwasser is a BuddyPress enthusiast, with experience designing and building themes and plugins.

He is co-founder of BuddyBoss. He previously managed the development and growth of SongLyrics.com, one of the most highly-trafficked websites in the world with over 100 million annual visitors. He has spoken at WordCamp Miami, WordCamp Columbus, and several universities about BuddyPress and web design.
